Ankan Bhattacharya obtained B.Tech. and M.Tech. degrees in Electronics & Communication Engineering from West Bengal University of Technology, Kolkata, India. He completed his Ph.D. from National Institute of Technology, Durgapur, India. He is the author of several research papers which have been published in many reputed Journals and Conferences of National and International levels. Dr. Bhattacharya is a Life-Member of Forum of Scientists, Engineers & Technologists (FOSET), Member of Institution of Engineers India (IEI) and Member of International Association of Engineers (IAENG). His areas of research are Antenna Engineering, Computational Electromagnetics, Electronic Circuits and Systems, Signal Processing, Microwave Devices and Wireless Communication Technologies. He is also an Editor/Reviewer of many National/International Journals of repute. His current edited book entitled, "Internet of Things and Data Mining for Modern Engineering and Healthcare Applications" has been published by Chapman and Hall/CRC, Routledge, Taylor & Francis Group. Dr. Bhattacharya is the Series Editor of "Modern Aspects of Computing, Devices and Communication Engineering", Chapman and Hall/CRC, Routledge, Taylor & Francis Group. He has organized/participated in, many National/International Conferences, Seminars, Workshops and Webinars. Dr. Bhattacharya has been active in delivering Invited Talks and has also been a part of many National/International Conferences in the capacity of Coordinator, Session Chair, Technical Committee Member etc. Dr. Bhattacharya has an academic experience of more than 11 years. Dr. Bhattacharya is acting as a Guest Editor of SN Applied Sciences, a Scopus Indexed, Open Access Journal of Springer Nature. He has been inducted into the Editorial Board of "Circuits and Systems Journal", Scientific Research Publishing (SCIRP). He has also joined The "Journal of Information Processing Systems (JIPS)", an official international journal of the Korea Information Processing Society. (Indexed in Scopus and ESCI), as an Associate Editor. Presently he is associated with Hooghly Engineering & Technology College, Hooghly, India as an Associate Professor and Head of Electronics and Communications Engineering Department.Â
